An ancient Greek unit of dry and liquid capacity, as a liquid measure = 2 kotyle, and as a dry measure, = ½ choinix, about 0.3 liters (1 U.S. dry pint).
In English translations of the Bible, it is translated “pot” (Mark 7:4,8).
