A unit proposed in the letters to the editor column of New Scientist (Feb 2020), in which the writer expressed a need for a “unit for a new measure of the environmental cost to the planet of a person in a year”, and suggested it be named the thunberg, for the celebrated activist Greta Thunberg (2003- ).
