In the Dutch East Indies, and later Indonesia, 20ᵗʰ century, a unit of mass, approximately 54.09 grams for precious metals, approximately 38.601 grams for opium. The thail for ordinary goods, ¹⁄₁₆₀₀ of a pecul, was the same magnitude as the opium thail.
