In India, 4ᵗʰ century bce – ?, a unit of mass, the weight of 10 seeds of masha (presently called mung bean or green gram, Vigna radiata, former scientific name Phaseolus radiatus L.) or 5 seeds of gunja (Abrus precatorius). Perhaps about 425 milligrams.
