In Denmark, before 1683, two units of mass used for butter:

the liden (little) skaal = 2 skaalpund = ¹⁄₁₂₈ tønde, about 990.4 grams.
the stor (great) skaal = 4 skallpund = ¹⁄₆₄ tønde, about 1.981 kilogram.
