saton [Greek, σατον ]

An ancient unit of liquid capacity, about 13 liters (7 U.S. dry quarts). It is the Greek form of the Hebrew unit bath.

In English translations of the Bible, saton has been translated “measure” (Matthew 13:33, Luke 13:21).
