rottolo

A pan-Mediterranean unit of mass, = ¹⁄₁₀₀th of a cantaro or kantar. Many alternative spellings and romanizations, including ruotoli. A type of ratal. “Rottolo” is the common romanization of the Arabic word; for the units in Italian-speaking areas, see rotolo. See also rotl, rottel, rottol, rtel and ratl.
