Rockenlast

In the Duchy of Oldenburg, a unit of weight, about 1921 kilograms. The Verordnung of 13 December 1838, which replaced the Oldenburg Pfund with the Pfund of Cologne, implies the Rockenlast is synonymous with the Schiffslast.

§. 2.

Das Pfund dieses Gewichts soll in Zwei und dreißig Loth, das Loth in vier Quentchen getheilt werden. Ein Centner soll Einhundert Pfund, eine Schiffslast (Rockenlast) Viertausend Pfund und eine Pferdelast Zwölfhundert Pfund enthalten.

The Pfund of this weight shall be divided into 32 Loth, and the Loth into 4 Quentchen. A Centner shall contain 100 Pfund, a Schiffslast (Rockenlast) 4000 Pfund, and a Pferdlast 1200 Pfund.
