ORLONG. Mesure d'arpentage ou de superficie, usitée dans l'ile du Prince-de-Galles, sur la côte de Malacca. L'orlong représente un carré de 20 jumbas de côté = 400 jumbas carrés = 1600 depas carrés = 25600 hastas ou cubits carrés = 6400 yards carrés = 1 acre 1 rood 11 perches 17¼ yards carrés d'Angleterre = 53.5102 ares.

Comme mesure de longeur ou côté du carré, l'orlong = 20 jumbas = 40 depas = 160 hastas ou cubits = 80 yards = 73.1507 mètres de long.

ORLONG. A measure of surveying distance or of area, used on Penang Island, off the coast of Malacca. The orlong represents a square with a side of 20 jumbas = 400 square jumbas = 1600 square depas = 25600 hasta or square cubits = 6400 square yards = 1 acre 1 rood 11 perches 17¼ square yards English measure = 53.5102 ares.

As a measure of length or the side of a square, the orlong = 20 jumbas = 40 depas = 160 hastas or cubits = 80 yards = 73.1507 linear meters.
