(Plural, mudden.) In the Netherlands, 1820 – 20ᵗʰ century, two units:

A unit of area, = 1 hectare. (UN 1966)
A unit of dry capacity, (= 10 schepels = 100 koppen = 1000 maatjes) = 100 liters (about 2.84 U.S. bushels). (UN 1966) Also called a zak or zac.
