A unit used to describe the capacity of a vacuum pump to pull a vacuum. One lusec is equivalent to a leak rate of 1 liter per second at a pressure of 1 millitorr. Such a unit has the dimensions of power, and 1 lusec is approximately 1.33322 × 10⁻⁴ watt (or newton meters per second).
