loxa or laxar

At Acheh in Sumatra, 19ᵗʰ century, units used in the trade in betel nuts. As a unit of count = 10,000 nuts. As a unit of mass, 1 loxa is about 168 pounds avoirdupois, about 76.2 kilograms. Assuming the nuts are sound, the measures are equivalent; however, traders usually allowed an extra percentage (as much as 25%) for unsound nuts.
