In Sweden, premetric units of mass = 1/32 skålpund, about 13.28363 grams (law of 1667). Before 1830 there was also a mint lod = 1/16 lödig mark, about 13.1635 grams.
In Denmark, a premetric unit of mass, = 4 kvintin = 1/32 pund, after 1683 about 15.625 grams. Before 1683, about 15.48 grams. The lod was declared no longer legal in trade by the ordinance of 19 February 1861.
Also in use was the Lübeck lod, of about 15.15 grams.
In Denmark, after 1858, the apothecaries' lod = 1/24 medicinalpund, about 15.63 grams.
In Denmark, a unit of mass used for gold and silver, belonging to the weight system called probervægt, which was based on the mark of Cologne. Before 1683 the kølner mark was about 230 grams and the lod about 14.38 grams. After 1683 the kølner mark was about 235.16 grams and the lod about 14.70 grams.
