In Denmark, ? – 1683, a unit of mass = 8/9 of the Copenhagen lispund, about 7.042 kilograms. Literally, a “light” (lis)pund.

After a new Danish pund was defined in 1683, being raised to about 500.24 grams, the term took on a new meaning. The new Danish pund was sometimes referred to as a tungt pund (heavy pund), and the let pund was about 499.72 grams.
