In Malaysia, ? – present, a unit of area, (the square jemba) = 4 square depas = 144 square feet, approximately 13.378 square meters. Symbol, j.
100 jemba = 1 penjuru. The jemba is usually used in combination with the relong (about 2870 square meters, 0.71 acres).
Some sources say that 1 relong = 484 jemba, however, that does not agree with the Malaysian government's report to the UN.
