Olio si vende [in Famagusta] a cantari. El detto cantare è giarre 8 e la giarra è ruotoli 12½ e quello di Puglia è giarre 13.

Vendesi a bisanti saracinati quando si vende a chantare e quando a giarra e vendesi a staio bixanti bianchi cioè chotanti bixanti la giarra.

Oil is sold by the cantare. The said cantaro is 8 giare and the giara is 12½ ruotoli, and that of Puglia is 13 giare.

They sell by the bisante [a gold coin] of the Saracens when they sell by the cantaro or by the giarra, and they sell by the staio for white bisantes; that is to say, so many bisanti per giara.
