, ? — 20ᵗʰ¹ centuries, a unit of mass, approximately 48.32 milligrams. Conceptually the mass of a grain of wheat. Also romanized as gändom. See also gon.
In Iran, the metrication law of 31 May 1926 fixed it at = 50 milligrams = ¹⁄₂₀th of a derham.
