cleaning unit

A unit used in rating the capability of a pressure washer. It is equal to the pressure in pounds per square inch times the water flow rate in gallons per minute. A small home pressure washer may provide something like 2400 cleaning units. Washers used by professionals can get as high as 16,000 cleaning units.
