El citado Cahiz corresponde à 40. Celemines Castellanos.

In Alcañiz, and the towns under its jurisdiction (excluding Plevanìa de Montalvan, and Baylìas), they call the measures of wheat and rye cahices, fanegas, quartales and almudes. The cahiz is made up of 8 fanegas, each fanega of 3 quartales, and each quartal of 4 almudes.

The aforementioned cahiz is equivalent to 40 Castillian celemines.
