abtesla

The unit of magnetic induction in the centimeter-gram-second electromagnetic system of units, equal to 1 maxwell per square centimeter. Another name for the gauss. Symbol, abT.

According to the current national standard in the United States¹, the abtesla is not to be used. The tesla should be used instead.
