An Akkadian unit of length, 3rd – 1st millenia bce,
= 1/30 of an ammatu, about 1.67 centimeters.
The word also means “finger” and the value is conceptually the width
of a finger. It corresponds to the Sumerian šu-si.
In Babylon in the 1st millenium bce, = 1/24 ammatu.
