In Malta , ? – 20^th century, two units, both equal to 16 tomna, one a unit of capacity and the other a seed measure of land:

• A unit of dry capacity, = 8 imperial bushels, approximately 290.95 liters. (UN 1966) Also called a salma.
• A unit of area, approximately 1.798 hectares (about 4.444 acres). (UN 1966)
