In Malaysia, ? – 20th century, a unit of length, = 2 depas = 4 yards (about 3.658 meters). (UN, 1955) Apparently this unit is no longer in use.

In Malaysia, ? – present, (UN, 1966). a unit of area, (the square jemba) = 4 square depas = 144 square feet, approximately 13.378 square meters. Symbol, j.
100 jemba = 1 penjuru. The jemba is usually used in combination with the relong (about 2870 square meters, 0.71 acres).

Some sources say that 1 relong = 484 jemba, however, that does not agree with the Malaysian government's report to the UN.
