In Sweden, 17th – 19th centuries (legally between 1655
and 1855), a unit of
liquid capacity used for wine, arrack, rum, beer, vinegar and oil, = 15 kannor, about 39.255 liters.
It belongs to the anker family of units. Sometimes used for dry commodities such as salt.
