24 January 2005 Michael Pilson reported a row that was in the wrong table.
26 September 2001 Tom Mauk, a professional surveyor, informed us that he had encountered the term “hundred” in a deed in Montgomery County, Maryland from the early 1800's, and again later in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.  He consulted an older surveyor (age 80 in 1980) who said it was a unit of 700 square feet and of Germanic? Roman? origin. Mauk's own surveys of the properties showed the lot sizes were consistent with a value of 700 sq. feet for the hundred.
