Terms are alphabetized according to the English alphabetical order. Accented characters are placed immediately after the most similar roman unaccented character. Symbols that are not characters in the roman alphabet, but are used in publications in the English language are listed in “sym”.
Square brackets after the term indicate the language. More than one pair of square brackets shows the word exists in different languages, or with as different words in a non-Roman language but having the same romanization. Curly braces enclose locations, if we do not know the language of the unit.
